Ready, set, stilettos, run! AnnaLynne McCord and Kelly Ripa take part in the High-Heel-A-Thon in New York

Stilettos at the starting line: AnnaLynne McCord joined Kelly Ripa and Kristin Chenoweth on the start line for the annual High-Heel-A-Thon in NYC


These ladies are taking their love of wearing high heels to a whole new level.

AnnaLynne McCord joined Kelly Ripa and Kristin Chenoweth on the starting line at the annual High-Heel-A-Thon in Central Park, New York yesterday.

The event is a 150-yard sprint in stilettos which raises money for The Foundation for the National Institute of Health's The Heart Truth Campaign.

And they're off: AnnaLynne gets caught in the crush as the race gets off to a flying start


The ladies all donned matching black Nike running leggings with their favorite pairs of high heels and looked excited as the took their places on the line.

The race is the second annual high heeled race which was the brain child of TV host Kelly Ripa and is sponsored by her show, Live with Regis and Kelly.

'Running in the studio gave me the thought,' Ripa said today of the race.'

'I had the hubris to believe, I thought I can win this because I run around the studio.'

Back to work: AnnaLynne headed to a meeting at the CW studios still in her workout gear after the run


90210 actress AnnaLynne looked stunning as she arrived at the CW studios after the event, still wearing her workout attire.

The 22-year-old star signed autographs for fans and posed for pictures before heading into the building.

Later in the day, she ditched the running leggings and baggy t-shirt for a glamorous backless silver dress as the busy starlet headed to the Self magazine's 3rd Annual Women Doing Good Awards.

Held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the awards celebrate woman's achievements in making the world a better place including charitable achievements, inventions and providing inspiration through behavior.

AnnaLynne joined Minka Kelly, Maria Menounos and Sofia Vergara on the red carpet at the event.

The actress has been on brief break from filming the third season of 90210 in Los Angeles.
