Joker: Nicole Scherzinger scrubs the dancefloor after surviving for another week on Dancing With The Stars

Nicole Scherzinger celebrated making it through to the final four on Dancing With The Stars last night - by scrubbing the dance floor.

The 31-year-old got down on her hands and knees to clean the wooden slats for a comedy skit.

While Nicole looked exhausted as she polished furiously, Len Goodman and his fellow commentary team yelled: 'You've missed a bit'.

Still smiling: Nicole got voted through to the next round of the competition

The pop star was still smiling, however, as she got voted through to the next round of the competition.

Nicole's survival was perhaps no surprise - the 31-year-old is known for her raunchy dance routines with her group Pussycat Dolls.

Not so lucky: Comedienne Niecy Nash and her dance partner Louis Van Amstel were voted off

She and dance partner Derek Hough, who scored a perfect 30 for their 50s style pasodoble routine, hugged one another when the results were read out.

Comedian Niecy Nash wasn't so lucky, and went home after being voted off the hit U.S. show.

She was graceful in her departure.

Anxious: Nicole awaits her fate with dance partner Derek Hough

'I am a 40-year-old mother of three,' she said. 'I've got three caesarean sections under my belt and I, I was able to survive in this competition this long?

'I've been able to be one of the last women standing in this competition. I've had such a fantastic time being able to live out my dream. I'm a happy girl.'

Next week Nicole will now compete in the semi-final against figure skater Evan Lysace, sports reporter Erin Andrews and American football star Chad Ochocinco for a place in the final.
